These Dr. Seuss-esque flowers are nestled above a cloud of ferny, lacy foliage. They certainly earn their nick-name of "Love in a Mist." The center tower of stamens makes a dramatic showing when the flower is in full bloom. After the flower ages out, the distinctive, inflated seed pod provides another showing and opportunity for display.
We grow white, pink, and purple.
Fun fact: This delicate-looking girl can produce up to 100 seeds from just one bloom! Also, ironically, while the flowers do not have any notable scent, the seed oil is used as a perfume fragrance.
Edible: yes
Dries/Presses: Seed pods dry very well
