The flowers we grow are carefully selected after much research on the kinds and varieties that grow well in Arkansas, USDA Hardiness Zone 8A. We also appreciate plants that are sturdy and as disease resistant as possible. Being new farmers, we are grateful for the guidance of experienced farmers, as well as the helpful and well-written texts we consult.

Our climate here in Central Arkansas is considered "humid subtropical," and that designation is well-earned due to the intense summer heat and humidity we experience for many months of the year, while incredibly still being subject to droughts. In addition, the high heat and humidity usually push the boundaries of summer, starting in spring and bleeding right over into fall, not unlike an overfilled tea cup that shares its golden concoction with the saucer below. Yes, indeed, our cup, it does runneth over.
